License
Squan is free, open-source software licensed under the Apache License 2.0. You may use, modify, and distribute Squan in accordance with the terms of the Apache License 2.0. A copy of the license is included with the source code and is available at apache.org/licenses/LICENSE-2.0.
Use at Your Own Risk
Squan is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use of Squan, including but not limited to data loss, system damage, or any other harm.
AI-Generated Content
Squan facilitates interaction with AI models for code generation and development tasks. You are solely responsible for reviewing and validating any AI-generated code or content produced through Squan. We make no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, security, or suitability of AI-generated output for any particular purpose.
API Keys and Costs
Squan requires you to provide your own API keys to interact with third-party AI providers. You are fully responsible for any costs incurred with third-party AI providers, including but not limited to Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, and others. Squan does not control pricing or billing for these services.
User Responsibilities
You agree not to use Squan for any illegal activities or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations. You are responsible for ensuring your use of Squan complies with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws.
Intellectual Property
The Squan brand, name, and logo are property of the project. The Squan source code is licensed under the Apache License 2.0. All other trademarks, service marks, and trade names referenced on squan.dev are the property of their respective owners.
Third-Party Services
Squan integrates with third-party AI providers and MCP (Model Context Protocol) extensions. These third-party services are governed by their own terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices, content, or availability of any third-party services.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall the creators or contributors of Squan be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of Squan, whether based on warranty, contract, tort, or any other legal theory.
Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Use at any time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of Squan after any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
Governing Law
These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles.
